Why We Oppose a Bridge Over Lake Lavon
 

Existing Roadways Can Be More Creatively Improved
with Innovative Traffic Solutions

We ask that Collin County NOT spend any more Collin County tax dollars toward this bridge plan, and instead allocate the funds to expedite and complete the currently planned projects such as Hwy 78, Park Blvd. extension and Hwy 380. 

US Army Corps of Engineers suggest that additional improvements to the area's roadways will be a better plan than a bridge.  Adding to the planned improved capacity of State Hwy 78 and Hwy 380 will better fit the traffic demands of the lake area drivers.
